Firmament: The great arch, expanse, or apparent dome of the sky where the clouds, sun, moon, and stars appear to be set.

Astro firmament came together around that meeting place between the grounded and the celestial—the way matter gathered from the earth can be shaped, arranged, and opened until it seems to reach beyond the conditions from which it began.

What rises toward the celestial does not leave the earthly behind; it carries its origin upward.
