A vivid cobalt bead rests above a small architecture of faceted glass and silver-toned forms, stacked closely together like pieces of something larger that have survived in miniature. Metal and smoky reflections give the piece its weight, while the single flash of blue draws the eye upward.Cobalt Vestige came together with the feeling of a fragment preserved—not restored to what it once was, but carried forward as something new. Its mismatched and found components retain traces of their former lives while becoming part of a new composition.
