A slender column of jet rises through ornate silver-toned forms, meeting clear faceted glass before resolving into a translucent green leaf. The composition moves between the elemental and the constructed—dark mineral, gathered light, metalwork, and finally the unmistakable shape of something grown. Jet Reliquary came together around the way we gather what originates in the natural world and give it new form: containing, arranging, and refining those materials until something familiar is allowed to become something transcendent. The natural is not erased by the act of making; it becomes the foundation from which another kind of beauty can emerge.
